The melting point is 1630°C and the boiling point is 1800°C. With a density of 6.95 g/mL at 25 °C [1], it is also an excellent transparent conductive material. Preparation method: tin is burned in the air, or tetravalent soluble tin salt reacts with alkali, or metal tin reacts with concentrated HNO3 to generate β-stannic acid precipitation, and then heated and dehydrated to obtain tin oxide.
